This was a great choice for my first Novella read, and I highly reccomend it if you are a fan of Plum’s books. And as Usual, the cover art is breath taking. I think the only thing that really would have made this better is if it were longer. Especially when you consider that the first and second Revenants books take place over the course of five months.įinal Thoughts: This would be a good spin off novel, and I’d like to get to know some other secondary characters better as well. The first book of her YA horror duology, DREAMFALL, will be released by HarperTeen in 2017. Amy’s newest series is a duology: AFTER THE END and UNTIL THE BEGINNING. This particular one went a little too fast. The fourth and fifth books are digital novellas, entitled DIE FOR HER and DIE ONCE MORE, and they are followed by a sixth digital compendium INSIDE THE WORLD OF DIE FOR ME. The Bad: One of the main reasons I don’t like Novellas is that they are too short. It was nice to be in Jules’s head for a while, and get to know him better. Usually the author tell it from the other Protagonist’s POV, but Plum went a totally different way by telling it from the POV of a secondary character. The Good: I LOVE reading a story I’ve already read from a new perspective. What it’s About: This is Kate and Vincent’s story told from the perspective of Jules.
